Established in 1994, the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE) is a non-profit 501c(6) organization sponsored and administered by law enforcement practitioners whose mission is to serve and further the interests of women executives and those aspiring to be leaders in law enforcement by promoting the ideals and principles conducive to women executives in law enforcement. To further those goals, NAWLEE hosts an annual conference and administers training programs to its membership in such areas as leadership, management and administration, as well as provides a vital forum for the exchange of information concerning law enforcement and mentoring opportunities for women in mid-level management positions and those new to senior management positions and roles.
