NAWLEE co-founder Chief Alana M. Ennis (Ret.) has moved back to North Carolina and is available to help you land that next promotion or job. She has worked in law enforcement for 29 years and was Chief of Police in three agencies. She has served as chief at two universities and one municipality. Alana has also spent several years in the private sector so if you have an interest there, she is a good one with whom to discuss that desire. Her last position was Assistant Vice President for Public Safety at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She is currently doing consulting in higher education and security.

The main mission of NAWLEE is to support women in law enforcement executive positions, mentor women and help women attain those positions. Alana is usually aware of openings for chiefs in universities and municipalities as well as in the private sector and she’s willing to help YOU!
